The Doom Countdown, for your website

short, as fine print goes- No cookies, no tracking, no accounts. The widget reads the same public data file as this paper and does its sums in the visitor’s browser.
- Countdowns are in years, months and days, then hours, minutes and seconds, in the visitor’s own time zone.
- “Next” means the soonest thing in the files: a doomsday date, a doom window opening, or an open window closing.
- Pick a busted prediction and the countdown counts up instead: the time since the last end date on file passed.
- Every widget carries a small “via” link back here, so readers can check the sources. Please leave it on.
