He said AI companies and government needed to stop 'sugar-coating' what was coming, naming technology, finance, law and consulting, and sketched one scenario: 'Cancer is cured, the economy grows at 10% a year, the budget is balanced, and 20% of people don't have jobs.' His own wording at the time was 'could', which will matter when the verdict comes.
