Western America Breaks Up and Japan Sinks, Starting Between '58 and '98
Edgar Cayce, 1934: 'The Greater Portion of Japan Must Go Into the Sea,' With Changes Due in '58 to '98
In a trance reading in a Park Avenue apartment, America's best-known psychic said the west would break up and Europe change 'in the twinkling of an eye.' 1998 came and went.
What was said
“The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea.”
— Edgar Cayce (American psychic, 'the Sleeping Prophet'; reading 3976-15) · said Jan 19, 1934 · due '58 to '98
By the end of 1998 western America was in one piece, Japan was above water and northern Europe looked the same.
The Story
Reading 3976-15 was given on January 19, 1934 at the New York home of Mr. and Mrs. T. Mitchell Hastings. The same reading goes on: 'The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America.'
It then dates the run of changes: 'And these will begin in those periods in '58 to '98.' Other earth-change dates: scallion-future-map-2001, montgomery-pole-shift-2000.
