What was claimed (paraphrase)
The Battle of Armageddon is to take place in 2020.
— Jeane Dixon (astrologer and psychic; author of The Call to Glory) · said 1971 · due 2020
2020 brought a pandemic, but no Battle of Armageddon.
The fine print
Paraphrase: the Express prints the line in quotation marks, but the Brief History of the Apocalypse list gives it outside quotes, citing pp. 170 and 172 of the book. Both quote her directly on the wider window: 'The years 2020-2037, approximately, hail the true Second Coming of Christ.' That Second Coming window runs to 2037; only the 2020 Armageddon date is judged here. Dixon died in 1997.
