From his paper for the Pardee Keynote Symposia at the Geological Society of America's Summit 2000 in Reno, November 13, 2000. His timeline listed '2012 => Permanent blackouts occur worldwide', describing 'an epidemic of permanent blackouts' in which 'the electric power networks themselves expire'.
