Fifteen Million Starships

Nidle Scheduled 15 Million Galactic Federation Ships by December 17, 1996

The Ground Crew channeler's photon-belt storyline put mass first contact on the calendar before year's end. The fleet stayed theoretical.

What was claimed (paraphrase)

during Earth's entry into the photon belt and no later than December 17, 1996, a mass landing of 15 million star ships of the Galactic Federation would complete the raising of the consciousness of humanity

— Sheldan Nidle (Ground Crew Project / Planetary Activation Organization) · said Nov 1996 · due No later than 17 December 1996

December 17 brought no mass landing. Later messages blamed storms, elites, and the need for humans to raise their own vibration first.

The Story

Sheldan Nidle's late-1996 internet ministry did not deal in vague 'soon.' The Galactic Federation's mass landing — some fifteen million starships — was due no later than 17 December, timed to Earth's slide into a cosmic photon belt that would rewrite DNA and manners alike.

Ground Crew members were to wake up as ambassadors. Underground chambers and mothership berths were, the channeling said, already being prepared.

December 17 passed without a parking problem. Follow-up dates borrowed Hale–Bopp and the Gregorian New Year. When those also missed, the story upgraded humans from passengers to unpaid spiritual contractors.

Receipts

Quote paraphrases Wikipedia summary of Nidle's Nov 1996 channeling narrative (Helland in Lewis, UFOs and Popular Culture, 2000; Palmer & Helland 2003): mass landing of ~15 million starships no later than Dec 17, 1996 during photon-belt entry.

Same pages: failed date, then New Year / spring 1997 / Hale-Bopp reschedules, then spiritualization. Single-source secondary OK for UFO religion entry; no invented dialogue.
