The fine print
Live Science says the remark aired on The 700 Club in May 1980. The Monitor notes Robertson 'has said that God told him about pending disasters on numerous occasions (including a West Coast tsunami in 2006, and a terrorist attack in 2007 – neither occurred).' Those later claims were hedged ('If I heard the Lord right'), so only 1982 is filed.
