If I Heard the Lord Right About 2007
Pat Robertson, January 2007: God Told Him a Terror Attack Would Bring 'Mass Killing' Late That Year
On the 700 Club's annual prophecy hour he claimed a relatively good track record and allowed that sometimes he misses.
What was claimed (paraphrase)
a terrorist attack on the United States would result in "mass killing" late in 2007. "I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said... "The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."
— Pat Robertson (The 700 Club / CBN), January 2, 2007 · said Jan 2, 2007 · due Late 2007 (after September, per coverage)
No terrorist attack causing 'mass killing' of the scale Robertson described struck the United States in late 2007. He told NBC he has a 'relatively good track record' and 'sometimes I miss.'
The Story
Every January Pat Robertson checked in with headquarters. In 2007 the message, he said, was mass killing by terror late in the year — not necessarily nuclear, but 'something like that,' after September. American cities did not get the appointment. He shrugged that sometimes he misses. The archive does not.
