Carlson: US 'May Be Within Days' of a Nuclear Strike on Iran; Trump to Decide by November 7

Tucker Carlson: Trump 'May Be Within Days' of Nuking Iran, Decision Due Nov 7. Source: 'Close Observers'

In an X post with 57.5 million impressions, Tucker Carlson says a US nuke on Iran means a 'short and final' World War Three. His deadline is Nov 7, for a decision he admits Trump is hesitating over.

What was said

“Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he's hesitating.”

— Tucker Carlson (commentator and host of The Tucker Carlson Show, in a post on X) · said Nov 1, 2026 · due Saturday, November 7, 2026

Due: the end of Saturday, November 7, when 'close observers' say Trump decides. World War Three, by Carlson's account, follows only if he says yes.

The Story

On Sunday night, November 1, 2026, Tucker Carlson posted on X that the Trump administration 'may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran,' pushed there by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Two weeks earlier he had written that Trump's 'anti-Christian death cult can only lead to nuclear war.' This time he brought a date.

The Target

The strike, he wrote, would hit Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where 'Israeli intelligence claims' enrichment has restarted beneath '300 feet of solid granite.' No conventional bomb gets through that, so in his telling 'the only military option is a nuclear strike.' Iran denies any nuclear work at the site.

The sourcing came to one 'informed observer,' who said 'Bibi calls Trump about it every day,' and an unspecified number of 'close observers,' who supplied the deadline. None of them was named.

By Carlson's count, Netanyahu has Pete Hegseth, the head of CENTCOM, Marco Rubio, the CIA director, the Democratic leadership and Barack Obama in his corner. Holding out for a deal: JD Vance and Steve Witkoff.

The Deadline

The deadline is for a decision, not a strike, and it came hedged in the same paragraph. What follows a yes, he wrote, is not in doubt: 'After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final.'

That makes it the rare forecast in this paper that, if it comes true, nobody will be around to mark correct.

The Other Side

The White House, as reported by Anadolu Agency, declined to discuss military plans and said Trump keeps all options open to stop Iran getting a nuclear weapon. Marco Rubio has reportedly said no final decision on resuming strikes has been made.

Trump was quoted telling Newsmax, in an interview reported as October 16: 'I wouldn't use nuclear weapons. We don't have to.' The day before Carlson posted, he reportedly said Pickaxe Mountain could be hit 'in 10 minutes' and that he was in no hurry.

Carlson closed by urging 'the global population' to speak up. If Trump decides against a strike, there may never be an announcement. Most readers will find out the usual way, by waking up on November 8.
